For over 25 years, Muslim Charity has been supporting communities around the world through vital programmes in education, healthcare, water provision, and sustainable livelihoods. Now, we're taking the next step: organising volunteering trips that allow you to be directly involved in this transformative work.
Our international volunteering roles are designed for skilled volunteers, such as teachers, healthcare workers, community development professionals, and more. This programme is for volunteers who want to contribute meaningfully alongside our partner organisations in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
Each placement is structured, purposeful, and supported by our team on the ground. At this stage, we keep our partner names confidential for safeguarding reasons, as many of the roles involve working with children and vulnerable adults. If your primary application is accepted then you will be given further information about the partner organisation.

Volunteer Teacher / EAL Teacher
Location: Tanzania
Minimum term: 4 weeks
Skills Required:
EAL/TEFL Qualification and/or Teaching experience
Deliver English language education to children at a school in Tanzania. EAL teachers are particularly sought after.

Please be aware that our partners are often small, local charities, so they cannot help to fund your volunteering. However, we can guide you in your own fundraising endeavours to cover your travel expenses, such as accommodation, flights, visas and travel insurance.
