Who We Are
The Changemakers Programme is the volunteering initiative of Muslim Charity. We connect individuals with purpose, transforming everyday volunteers into a powerful force for sustainable community change both within the UK and internationally. For over 25 years, we have been at the forefront of supporting vulnerable communities, regardless of religion, ethnicity, or background. Our diverse and dedicated volunteers are the driving force behind this impactful work.
What We Do
At the Changemakers Programme, we invite volunteers to join us in making a real difference in our communities. We run friendly outreach projects, fun educational workshops, and engaging awareness campaigns to help those in need, both here in the UK and around the world. Our volunteers provide essential services, spread kindness, and bring people together. By participating with us, you’ll not only help create positive change but also gain valuable skills, enhance your well-being, and connect with like-minded individuals.
Who Can Join Us.
Everyone is welcome. While our mission is guided by faith, there is no requirement for our volunteers to adhere to any specific faith or religious beliefs. We believe that the desire to do good is universal, and we invite anyone who shares our commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others and themselves.

Get Safeguarding Trained One of the most important things you can do as a volunteer is ensure you have the knowledge to keep others safe. Explore our Community Safeguarding Programme and complete a free training course today, because protecting the vulnerable starts with being prepared.
Build Your Skills From community support and teaching to leadership and cultural awareness, our training programmes are designed to help you grow as a volunteer and give more back to those around you. Many courses are free, and we can support the cost of others.
