Hessel Street Hub - Partner With Us
Your Cause.
Our Space.
Shared Purpose.
Hessel Street Hub is open to local groups and organisations who want to bring support, activities, and connection to our community. Whatever you offer, you'll find a space here that's ready to welcome you in. We exist simply to serve our community, and that means backing the people and groups who serve it too.
Bring Your Group to Hessel Street Hub
See how you can utilise our hub to help the community.
Looking for a warm, welcoming space to run your sessions, workshops, or activities? Our Hessel Street Hub is available to local groups and organisations who want to offer something valuable to residents in Whitechapel and beyond.
Whether you're running a free drop-in, a parent and toddler group, a wellbeing session, or a paid workshop, our team is here to help you find a time and space that works.
We believe strong communities are built when local organisations work together. That's why we keep the Hub accessible and affordable, whatever your group looks like or however you're funded.
Fair and Flexible
What it costs depends on what you offer - free sessions stay free, and paid sessions help fund the free ones.
Free community sessions - if your group offers its support for free, there's no charge to use the space.
Paid or ticketed sessions - a room hire fee applies:
Β£100 for half a day
Β£200 for a full day
These fees go straight back into the community - subsidising the free groups who use the Hub, so vital local support stays available to everyone who needs it. We can offer some flexibility around the costs if needed, so reach out to us and letβs work out how we can collaborate.
Getting Ready
Every new group completes a short checklist before their first session, so we can keep everyone safe. What we need includes:
Proof of valid Public Liability Insurance
A completed risk assessment for your proposed session
Any relevant safeguarding, food hygiene, or health & safety details
Weβll require this information before your first session with us. However weβre happy to work with you on developing a risk assessment if this isnβt something youβve done before. Just let us know when reaching out what support you may need.
You can find our Due Diligence Checklist here, with all the information on required documents and information. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
The Space
A bright, flexible main room with everything you need to set up your session.
The Hub is made up of one main room, plus two smaller side rooms - one is available for groups to use, the other is used for storage.
The main room comes with:
Desks and chairs - plenty of both, easy to rearrange into rows, clusters, or a single big table, whatever suits your session
A kitchenette - with a hot water urn and fridge, so you can offer tea, coffee, and refreshments
A screen and HDMI cable - ready for presentations, workshops, or training sessions
A comfortable seating area - sofas for a more relaxed, informal space alongside the desks
The room can be set up in a number of different ways to suit your activity, and groups are welcome to rearrange the furniture themselves. We just ask that you tidy up afterwards and put everything back roughly how you found it, ready for the next group.
